Requested delivery date

Hi ,

Is it that whatever date is requested by the customer to be the delivery date, the order must be entered with this date as the 'Requested delivery date' ?

My understanding is yes given this date is important for schedule calculation. i like to confirm this is correct.

Yes that is correct.

Hi,

Yes, it is provided for the same.

But this is not mandatory that same will be considered as the reference for the delivery schedule.

As you must be aware delivery schedule depends on the material availability date, schedule line category, Requirement type , whether customer required complete or partial deliveries etc.
