Need a hard error to not allow price type change in PO after initial recipt

Hello Experts,

We have below requirement. We are using extended classic scenario.

We have one SRM purchase order which has "Not to exceed" field value $0. After ordering PO the invoice is also generated for this PO. So now if somebody wants to change the value of this "not to Exceed" filed in PO then we want hard error to prevent user to enter value in that field of PO.

Can you guys advice me how to get this?

Hi

You have couple of options:

1. Make that field display only using webdynpro configurations(if you are on SRM 7.0)

2. Build a login in BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI to propose an error if the user is trying to change the PO price

How to build a login in BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI? I am new to SRM so please can you advice me on this?

Will I need development for this thing?
