SSO Between 2 NetWeaver Portals

Former Member

Hey ,

I am trying to Configure SSO Between 2 NetWeaver Portal .

Here are the details of the Systems .

System 1 :- NetWeaver 7.01 SP05

Oracle 10.2.0.4

SID :- TP1

System 2 :- NetWeaver 7.01 SP05

Oracle 10.2.0.4

SID :- HPP

Both the Portals are on the SAME Domain .

I tried Export/Import of Certificates and created an " URL Iview " to Access HPP from TP1 , but it didn't Work .

Is there something EXTRA to be done , when configuring SSO Between Portals ???

Regards,

Ashish .A. Poojary

Have you configured the J2EE in order to accept logon tickets? Check Link: [this|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/46/55195e4e5d41b095d0371fa9df2781/frameset.htm] doc

@ Nibu & Mark

Yea , The portal has been configured to Accept LOGON TICKETS.

My basic requirment is as follows :-

I'll be putting up a link on Portal TP1 to Connect to Portal HPP . Since the USer IDs are same it shouldnt be as issue using SSO With LOGON TICKETS . So via SSO the user should logon to HPP from TP1 .

I will be creating an URL Iview to connect to HPP from TP1 .

I have added TP1 as a trusted System in HPP via URL http://<hostname>:5<nr>00/sso2 .

The sequence of LOGON Modules in HPP for TP1 are as follows :-

1. EvaluateTicketLoginModule SUFFICIENT

2. EvaluateAssertionTicketLoginModule SUFFICIENT

3. BasicPasswordLoginModule REQUISITE

4. CreateTicketLoginModule OPTIONAL
