Dear Experts,
Could you please explain me that in VARIANT CONFIGURATION whether creation of BOM is necessary or not?
If yes then why and with an example if possible.

hi,
this is to inform you that,
variant configuration can be done in two methods:
one is with BOM - here you are having two methods with item category 0002 & 0004.
0002 - pricing happens at the Header Item Level.
0004 - pricing happens at the Sub Item Level.
& second is with out BOM - This is straight farward you can have it 0002.
