Hi All,
Recently we have activated Vietnamese language in our unicode ERP 6.0 landscape as per the OSS note 895560.
After activation we tried to print the forms using SWINCF device type .we are able to print the form from Developement system.
Now we moved the changes to quality system and tried to print . But now we are not able to print the vietnamese characters correctly , we are receiving some junk characters .
Here we are able to view the Vietnamese characters in print preview and not able to print Vietnamese characters in printout .
Can any one please help us to resolve the issue.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Ranga.
Hi,
Check that the font mapping is the same for both systems via report RSCPSETCASCADINGFONTS for device type SWINCF. See the document CascadingFontGuide.zip attached to SAP note #812821. usually the default mapping should be sufficient.
Regards,
Aidan

Hi Aidan,
Thanks for your prompt response.
We are getting the following error
Output requests go to "Problem" status. In transaction SP01 you find an error log showing the following error messages:
OTF module: Unknown print control should be output
OTF module: Unknown print control %CFNT should be output
We found the OSS note related to this 1251969.
As per the OSS note points :
A) Our system is a UNICODE system
B) We are under Kernel release 700 and packlage level is 221 .
c) Entries are same in both development and quality for device type SWINCF in table CFONT_INFO .
Even if we have done the following.
If A)-C) have been verified and the problem persists, use SE38 and run report RSCPSETCASCADINGFONTS.
- Select radiobutton "Settings per Device Type"
- Input name of your device type into "Device Type Name"
- Select radiobutton "Modify Device Type Settings"
- Use F8=Execute
- Use menu function "Edit->Clear Cache"
- Use F15=Exit.
But no luck .
Can any one please suggest further .
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Ranga.
