Exporting Title Information on Export to Excel with VC on CE 7.2

All,

We are looking for functionality that was in VC 7.01 that allowed you to download to excel the window information.

For example, previously you could create a form and a table, place a button on the toolbar of a table and export to excel

with functionality to export window.

In VC 7.2 there is export to excel with the table based on ALV settings. Unfortunately it seems only to be able

to download the columns and data.

Does anyone know how to export to excel in VC 7.2 where heading information can be downloaded as well?

Hi John,

The export to excel functionality of VC 7.2 is supplied by the ALV table itself and not VC, which is the reason for the difference in functionality. I don't know of any way to export the table title along with the data.
