HI All,
Can any one let me know what are the tools used for data modeling by data architect? How does Data Modeling starts in MDM world? what are the various data models exist in MDM world?
Are the following three standard models or any thing else?
Conceptual
Logical
Physical
Please advise..what is the initial steps and from where actual MDM modeling starts and what tools are used?

SAP MDM doesn't have datamodeling tool
SAP provide database templates(business content) for different SAP objects
That business content you can found here:
You can use it as basis for expand your repository functionality.
For custom development repository structure you can use CASE systems like ERWIN, Sybase Power Designer, ARIS or something elese.
SAP MDM provided you high level functionality like LUT, QLUT, Tahonomy, Hierershy, images and documents storage.
Additional data type like measurement, user stamp, record stamp.
