SC has disappeared from the Software Components list

Hi,

We currently have an issue in our development environment.

Our basis team uses JSPM to apply patches of a SAP custom application and we are currently in our stablization phase of the project. The application is made up of 2 SCs.

The problem is basis came to use JSPM today to apply a patch, but one of the SCs have disappeared.

This SC is no longer visible in the SystemInfo Software Components section, but the DCs are visible in the Software Component section.

Essentially what happened was that we had deployed one DC (which is in the missing SC) using NWDS, in the SystemInfo it now shows as "LOKAL" and the Software Component field is blank. Where as the other DCs are set to the usual MAIN_CNR*** with a Software Compoent entered in the field.

Is there a way to revert or fix this?

Hi Anil,

The two SCs have been created by SAP Custom Development team () -> TMRORF and TMROWD.

TMROWD contains a bunch of DCs (about 30 or so) but we had only deployed 1 or 2.

Due to this, TMROWD has disappeared from the Software Component list and basis can no longer patch it using JSPM.

Hi,

Issue has been resolved.

We undeployed the orphaned DCs in NWDS and then redeployed the SCA file from NWDS.

Basis was then able to see the SCs in JSPM.
