We've implemented a number of coutries in Travel Management, with plans to add Canada in 2011. My question is regarding use of the delivered Trip Provision Variant (07 Canadian Accounting) and what is special to this variant. Would we be able to copy another variant we've already configured (like 10 US Accounting) if much of the configuration is similart to what we will use in Canada or are we missing some crucial programming?
If copying the trip provision variant then please check the documentation for report RPRMORDE, usually it is reccommended to copy the trip provision variant 99 and make this then your new variant, but only to copy the existing trip schema and change the the setting etc,
In this way, the schemas will be directly copied from V_T706S
Part of the problem though is that some specific wage types are delivered with the country specific accounting so legal obligations etc are at customers discretion unlike the delivered version which is shipped with all legal framework as standard.
Hope this helps!
