ecc6 ehp2 upgrade

Hi,

I need to upgrade to ecc6 / ehp2, could not find information about :

1. HW / SW requirements

as well if someone has any experience about how long it can take.

Is there anyone who can provide required information.

Hi Samad,

The ECC6 EHP2 is very old, the EHP4 has important new features.

The requeirements de HW is minimal, but as recommended read in detail the Installation Guide.

The roadmaps steps Initialization, Extraction, Configuration, Checks and the firts phases of Preprocessing you can calculate approximately two days. The enhancement package installation requires a system downtime of several hours and Finally you have take into account the time needed for follow-up activities.

ERP 6.0 is not (yet) released with EHP2, you'll need to wait until EHP5.

We don't know if the OP speaks about the Netweaver EHP2 which is still not there, or the ECC6 EHP2 which is quite old now.

It depends on the usage types you are going select...

Hi,

You can go for EHP4 rather than going to EHP2.

You will find the up gradation guide from SAP SMP regarding the same.
