DP BoM - Selectively Excluding Input Materials

All, I am using DP BoM's in SCM7 and have the following problem which I am hoping you can help me with.

I have a requirement to exclude specific input materials from my DP BoM's (PDS)

All materials have a consistent classification within the SCM product hierarchy and as such I would like to be able to exclude on that basis.

I am using SDP relevance to set excluded materials to PPDS planning only but have had to use a MASSBACK program scheduled after each integration run to achieve this. It works but it will become awkward as I find exceptions.

Anybody know of any obvious solutions which can help me with this inconvenience?

Do I understand you correctly that you want exclude some BOM componentes in live cache? If the answer is yes I would advise to use the the method "COMBI_ENRICH" in BAdI "/SAPAPO/SDP_MASTER". There you can free add or delete CVC's during creating CVC for BOM componentes.
