Can you plz tell me the difference in using Sybase Unwired Platform alone as a Middleware and Sybase Unwired platform integrating with other middleware, in the development process of Mobile Solutions?

Hi,

SUP is a platform able to connect to different backend using various means.

The most common used efficient way to connect to SAP backend is using co-innovation platform from SAP & Sybase.

This uses Netweaver Mobile DOE 7.1 to connect to SAP backends as a middleware n then SUP talke to DOE.

As a standalone SUP can be used to connect to any backend using webservices etc.
