I create the 3rd party process steps , and i also saw the configuration in the system already done in the past , so i created the sales order but i want item category to be automatically on the sales order , but i am not sure about this. so i tried changing manually and this was the error ...item category ZTAS is not defined for this item.please advise how to fix this

In the material master, maintain item category group as BANS in Sales:sales org2 tab.

Then in t.code VOV4, make an entry for the sales order type+item category group enter default item category as ZTAS.

This will resolve the issue.

this you can fix it thru VOV4 - by doing your item category determination ZTAS.

hello

i a sales order you shall item categoty TAS and schedule line category CS. this will create purchase requisition automatically in background.
