Status Profile

Hi,

I have a project for which I have to assign different Status Profile for Different WBS, for example,

WBS 1

WBS 1.1 Sts Prof : X001

WBS 1.2 Sts Prof : X002

WBS 1.3 Sts Prof : X003

WBS 2

WBS 2.1 Sts Prof : X004

WBS 2.2 Sts Prof : X005

I am creating this project using Standard WBS.

Can I by any chance default the Status Profile to the WBS so that when I create Project I get a Project as desired above.

HI,

This is standard.

While creating / editing the standard / operative WBSE, you can select whatever the status profile you want.

Hi,

We can default the status profile which can be common for all the WBS Elements in Standard WBS. but we cannot default for each WBS as I have mentined in my question.

Thats right. But you can manually change the defaulted status profile in each WBSE as per your requirement, which I am pointing out.

You can use the WBS update BADI to build your own substitution rule based on level

Not sure if standard substitution will allow based on level - will have to check system
