If inspection lot is rejected by quality team can RR /UD be done again for same lot if there are no long term MIC's. If yes How and if NO where does the material goes?

If the MICs are shorterm you can't enter the results again after UD made. The long term characteristics allows to to

change/enter the result even after UD check.

One thing you can do is reverse the UD by user exit QEVA0008 or by SAPNOTE 175842 and 33924 and do results

recording again.

NO where does the material goes?

That depends on the user decision where he wants to send the stock after inspection lot rejection during UD you can send to

Scrap,Block etc.

1. Check the third tab in IL.

A. If quantity to be posted in IL is zero. this means stock has already been moved to some other status.

if inventory still exists in SAP, use MIGO transaction to change status

If inventory is already consumed, you need to reverse the transaction that consumed the inventory

B. If quantity to be posted in IL is not zero. you can post the inventory to appropriate status in the third tab.

You can post inventory to scrap, other material, another status etc from the inspection lot.

In standard SAP, if required MIC is rejected, user will get a warning during UD but can

still enter the UD. You can prevent this situation in future inspections using status profile assigned to Inspection type. for examples refer to links below

or

Another option is - set the UD 'selected set' such that automatic inventory posting is not set.

User will have to post inventory as separate step during inspection lot processing.

I hope one of these option will meet your requirements.
