NO active sockets on SSL provider

Former Member

Hi All,

I had setup SSL earlier with no problem. Now, when I login to the VA and go to the SSL provider on the dispatcher, there are Nn active sockets to utilize. So, port 50001no longer works. What could cause this to happen. How do I solve the problem?

I have restart the J2ee instance and this did not solve the problem.

Kind Regards,

Chris

Hi Chris.

Did you configure the SSL provider to start automatically when the server has been restarted?

Hope this helps to solve your problem

Best regards,

Jacob

HI Jacob,

I had switched server certificates and had to back out the config in the SSL provider and do it over. Once I did this, it came up corretly. Thanks for answering though!

Hi Richard,

How did you solve it? Because one of our customer faces the same problem that no Active Socket displayed within SSL Provider Service

Make sure to associate the https port to a key pair certificate.

Hi,

Thanx but my problem is that there are no ports seems under VA > Server > Services > SSL Provider > runtime > dispatcher > configuration

by mistake they've deleted all SSL keys via Key Storage Service

You can load your own key pair certificate (.pfx or .p12) in Key Storage service, under service_ssl view.

Then, you can use it to associate with a http port (tippicaly 5xx01, where xx is your system number).

Henrique.

Hi Richard, I am having the same problem with the SSL provider. However, I'm not sure what you mean by back out the config. It seems like my ssl-credentials is also gone as well.

Thanks
