Right-click to show systems

Hi,

I know that when you right-click the saplogon icon in the tray, the list of logged on systems displays with the system id displayed.

I installed a note at another customer before so that the system ID's are also displayed when you right-click the minimised saplogon from the taskbar. But, I can't find the note number....anyone know it?

Thanks.

I believe the note you are looking for is:

Note 757964 - Additional information in the SAP GUI window title

This will display the additional information into the taskbar items and not in the saplogon icon over by the clock.

It states "as of 640" and I know many of us use it here fine through 7.10. Its just a simple registry modification.

Zecher

what's your SAPGUI version and patch level?

When you right click on SAPGUI on tray icon you should get as below example:

SRD(1), client, current tocde description, hostname, username, logged on language

Thanks for the reply.

Release 7.10 Patch 17.

Yes, I know that I get it in the tray - that is normal.

But, there is a note which means that when you click the minimised SAP session in the taskbar (not the saplogon icon in the tray), you get the same list.

It's handier than the saplgon icon but obviously not a must have, end of the world, issue.
