j2ee_admin password expired - "password expired please provide a new one"

Hi,

The j2ee_admin password expired for the ess the ume is configured in ECC . Changed the j2ee_admin password in ECC and tried to login to ESS using j2ee_admin/with valid password but getting prompted as "password expired please provide a new one".Also tried by changing the j2ee_admin to the valid password in ESS java using configtool but the error remains same. we will not be able to restart our server as we dont have downtime. Is any faced this issue ? Could anyone share how to resolve this issue without restarting the j2ee_engine.

Hi

User Master data has not been refreshed in J2EE side, since UME is running on ABAP side.

So, I foresee that you need to request for the downtime so that you can restart. Once the User master data is sinked in both the engines ABAP and Java, then you can.
