Software Component Question.

Hi people,

I have a Software Component Version that have a connection data for import from SAP system. If I only need to put a file in other file in R/3 server I need to use this connection data or not?

HI,

This is required when you are importing the metadata from the R/3 system i.e Idoc/RFC etc. Otherwise it is not required. SO in that case, you can choose second option i,e Not Permitted.

To do that what I need to create first, because I need to create a Software component and name space but I don't know how.

Hi,

First you need to create a SWC in the SLD. For this you need to have Product created first.

After creating the SWC, you can import the SWC into the Repository. Once you import the SWCV then , you can start creating a namespace.
