Batch management

Hi Guys,

I have a situation.

Material u2013X and has two Batches u2013 B1X and B2X

Now when customer Y orders in delivery u2013 B1X batch should get picked.

when customer Z orders in delivery u2013 B2X batch should get picked.

Please note materials is only one u2013X. if I have the access with Customer/Material still I have a problem. The material will be same and under that I will have two batch B1X and B2X.

Please guide how to configure this in SAP.

hi,

in VCH2 you can create a strategy type which contols against customer/material this material is reserved.

in strategy type SD01 its is available.

Found the soultion

i created the new charater and added cutomer number in MSC2N.

You can handle this by adding an additional characteristic called Customer reservation in batch class and batch search strategy class.

Created the characteristic in t.code CT04 and you can add the same in CL02.

After adding this, you can add the customer number in the respective batch master and in VCH2 records.

By this way, the system will pick only the batch reserved for the customer.
