Hi all SAP Experts

We have two SAP server DEV,QA!, and one network printer HP1606DN.The two server have one output device P1 with L method. In QA1 server, i can print out English characters, but all Chinese characters are printed as '#'. In DEV server, i can't print anything, and the printer has not response. I checked SP01 in DEV, all of the print request's status is ' Waiting in host spooler'. Can anybody help me?

Another question:

Which device type is suitable for HP1606DN to print Chinese character? i am using CNHPLJ4 now.

If you use L method it for OS LP/LPR command, make sure you have defined the print queue on your DEV systems.

check Note 931178 - Traditional Chinese characters cannot be printed for printing # issues. If this note doesnot resolve the issue then you can search on service.sap.com/notes for more notes.
