Hello Colleagues,
when i click on integration builder ,I am getting error as "cannot connect to server using message server"
Kinnly assist it that how to solve this issue.
Hi Raj,
Check for the below listed once:
1. Exchange Profile of PI - http://host:port/exchangeProfile
2. Check with the rmi port number.
3. if rmi port number is empty or any number is present ( check with Tr code: SMICM - services - check for p4 port number - it will be ex: 5<nr>04)
4. fill the rmi port number as present in the P4.
Also check the below blog:

Hello,
No problem with the questions, we're here to clarify things
I think the best way to check that is by going to SLD -> Administration tab -> Content Maintenance
-> Select Class: Integration Server. There, in the "Name" field, you'll see what I mentioned, which
is the "is.<ID>.<host>. The "<ID>" is the number you're looking for.
If you're on PI 7.1X, you should go to "CIM Instances" on the Home tab, instead of the Administration tab.
Best regards,
Caio Cagnani

Hi,
Follow steps below and check them all:
1) Install the latest Java version (1.5 for PI 7.1/1.4.2 for XI 3.0 and 7.0) and set the JAVA_HOME and path;
2) Adjust firewall security on server to open ports: 8100, 50000 and 50004 on server (ensure the value for the P4 port: 81xx is open in the firewall (in both directions));
3) Adjust the following parameters in Exchange profile:
com.sap.aii.connect.directory.mshttpport = 81<instance ID>
com.sap.aii.connect.repository.mshttpport = 81<instance ID>
4) Open the NWA and check the Server settings:
Go to Operation Management -> Systems -> Start&Stop -> Java EE Services -> P4 Provider, check if the P4 service is started and also it should have the PI host name.
Also go through the notes:
#1278563 - Specification of message server host in Exchange Profile
#883943 - Problems with p4 service bindHost property in J2EE Engine
The last note, as mentioned, the "N" is the number of the server.
In the main cases, it's "0" = "icm/server_port_0"

Hello Hareen,
Thanks for reply.but where to check port number in exchange profile???

When you try to Open IR / ID you would be able to find the port number. Eg http://india:12345/rep/start/index.jsp This 12345 will be the port number.
Check the SAP notes: 1278563
