Hi,

I have created a Transaction variant to disable the conditions tab in the sales order creation screen (VA01).I am successful in doing so,but the user can see the same if he/she goes through menubar path Goto>Item>Conditions.I have deactivated this menu item while creating the Transaction variant, but still the Conditions item is active mode. Can you please guide me where I went wrong.

Regards,

Phani Prasad.

Dear Phani Prasad,

While creating Transaction variant using SHD0

record the conditions tab by going to Goto-Item-Conditions ( Screen value:5003 & Program:SAPMV45A) and choose

Invisible check box against "Conditions" tab , then save the variant.

Now try creating sales order & test. If you try to go to "Conditions" tab- it will throw an error message.

Even tried to goto - conditions tab by selecting the "item conditions" icon from order overview screen. Still am getting error message. Try & update

Another way to de-activate is technically you have to de-active menu bar option using Tx:SE41- Program:SAPMV45A status:A0 / A02.

hi,

this is to inform you that,

you have to disable those functions for certain users then you have to do two things:

Program name : SAPMV45A and screen 4050 say to abaper to disable it.

provode authorization to use with out disabling it.

hi,

yes you are right you can do it screen variant or transaction variant for the same and the screen which you have to use it is 4050 screen and make item conditions ICON - invisible and create your authorization group and assign the same variant to users.

it will ask for package give it and save it.

i have tested it in SBX.

here, if you want this progrmatically done you can take first option for this issue as a solution.

or

if you want to do it from functional end you can take this solution
