Problem printing ITF 14 barcode using SAPScript

Hello,

I have been trying to print a barcode label using SAPScript. I exported the SAPScript-ITF file from the label designer program (Sato Label Gallery) using functionality Export to SAP and saved it as standerd text using Tcode SO10.

I'm using the text in my form and try to print from but nothing prints for the SATO printer, although I am able to print using the same method for other barcode formats. I also checked the text and there is no command for the ITF format. If anybody knows the commads to print ITF 14 barcode from SAP please share.

I guess, SAP script does not supported the new bar code technologies. Try using Smartform it may work.

Can you provide me the code for SmartForm if it is possible to print ITF 14 Barcode from Smartforms.

Hi,

You need to create a new system barcode in SE73 and specifiy that it is the type New barocde Technology. This is described in SAP note #645158. Then if you specify this barcode in your smartform, it should be printed correctly.
