Hi Experts
Can anyone provide some documentation around how to configure retails promotions. I would like to understand the different setting that goes with promotions setup, especially around allocations and lead times setup (leadtime purchasing, follow-on time purchasing, leadtime listing, listing follow-up time, announcement category, message schema, etc.).
Also, how is allocation / distribution plan triggered from within the promotion setup (does this require some cofiguration to trigger automatic creation of PO from stores to DCs) with the quantity specified in the respective allocation tables ,etc. I just want to understand how the full promotions solution works in SAP.

This is the best practice solution which could be changed depend upon customer specific need.
