Distribution of single original file from list of original file

Hi Folks,

We have a requirement to distribute selected original files from list of originals in a DIR, how can we achieve this? as i understand we don't have control on original file level. same time client wants to have control on original files of DIR like suppose particular DIR is having five quotation attached to that but user should not have authorization to view all the quotation, only few of them should be able to view. as technically this is not at all possible but if is there any work around for this? or can we achieve this with standard sap solution.

Hi,

in the document distribution functionality it is only possible to send all originals by entering value '*' to column 'App' or to send only specific originaltypes by entering the workstation application ID (e.g. PDF) in this column before starting the distribution.

Regarding the authorization check I think you can only create your own individual permission check by using BADI DOCUMENT_AUTH01.
