Unable to import IDoc from ECC to PI 7.1

Hi Experts,

When i try to import the IDOC in PI 7.1 ESR it is throwing this error "component should be attached to some frame or dialog" and the jave engine is restarting.

I can import the IDOCS from old R3 system but i can't import the IDOC from ECC6 ( we upgraded R3 system).

Can anyone suggest me what could be the wrong.

I found the following thread for the same issue but i can see all IDOCS from ECC6, it is throwing the error when import started step in Import IDOCS wizard, the user which i am using it got all authorizations in ECC6.

Thanks

Hello

Check note #677732 Authorization for MDI within framework of adaptive RFC. Ensure the SAP S_DDIC_MDI profile is assigned to the user that is importing the IDoc into the ESR (this user must be maintained in the ECC system).

Hi Praveen,

First U need to check the RFC Destination, whether it is pointed to words pi or not.

The last solution is if u used the idoc earlier then go to this and click on xsd tab from there you can import to the directory and then import it from External Definitions.

Thank & Regards
