Hi ,

I am creating the Inbound Delivery with serial number .But when I put the serial no in inbound delivery it should update the equipment of the serial number with Plant and Storage location .

But I do not what is problem with it is not automatically updating the equipment with plant and storage location .so I have tried to update it manually but while updating system is giving the massage as equipment has changed but when we check it again in display mode for equipment changes that we have done are not there in the Equipment .

Please help me to resolve

yes serial no is assign to General data

Hi,

You need to fine tune the Serial number profile in Customization , check category field in serial no profile.

it will be controlled thorugh customization itself. nothing to do with the master data. Updation of equipment number in serial numbers & vice versa.

please check in IE02 for equipment master data.

have you assigned serial number's in general data of equipment master data.

please check and confirm
