Extra MICs while Results Recording

Hi All,

In the Results Recording for in-process inspection, I am getting many MICs extra which are not assigned in the Routing Operation. How this is possible?

those MIC 's must have been maintain in ur plan

go to inspection lot , go to inspection specification and open that group.

check whether those MIC'S are present in plan.

Hi,

I have already checked in routing.

If I check "insp by configuration" in material master, is it not required to assign the MICs which are linked to VC in the Routing?

Hi Ramakanth,

If you

- choose "inspection by configuration" in material master,

- DOES NOT add this MIC in the inspection plan or routing,

- configuration exist in sales order with class characteristic,

- assign this MIC to the class characteristic...

then you will get this MIC in your inspection lot.
