Installtion error on Phase 29 of 94 (check DDIC password)

Dear all,

we are getting error on 29 phase check DDIC password .

Test logon to SAP System ITD failed.

Make sure that the system is started, that the user DDIC exists and that the password of user DDIC is correct.

Is the ABAP system up and running? Check this in the SAP management console.

Yes Its Up and working also (ABAP Stack),

But i have tried to logon 000 Client with DDIC User and master password , not taking .

Hi,

Login to client 000 with user sap* and password as 06071992.

once login check whether DDIC is lock or not. If not reset the password of DDIC user .

and login with DDIC user with the password, where it will ask you for chaning the initial password. Now keep the password as master password and then stop complete intslaltion and start it again with retry old installtion option.

Hi,

Login to 000 with user sap* and then goto SU01 and reset the password of DDIC to 19920706 ( keep this password as inital only) , dont change it and then. Stop installtion and then stop and start sap and again the start the installition with restart mode.

I encountered the same problem and after patching the kernel to the latest version it solved my problem.
