Storage Type 914 does not allow negative stock figures

Hi there,

I'm new to Warehouse Management functionality and will need your inputs to our current issue.

We did LT01 for movement type 999 for a material / plant / sloc and quantity from storage type 914 / storage bin XXX destination storage type 005 / storage bin AAA. SAP prompted us that Storage Type 914 does not allow for negative stock figures.

I've checked on MMBE and we have the quantity posted as unrestricted for the relevant material/batch.

If I go to LX02, Total Stock and Total Available stock figures are fine. Stock for Putaway and Stock for Pick Quantity are 0.

So can you please advise why SAP would not allow us to do the transfer posting? What further checks do I need to initiate?

Have you checked that the 'Bin' is in the corect St Location?

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, I have confirmed that business is doing the transfer using incorrect Storage Location. But once I've used the correct Storage Location number - system will prompt No stocks from HU storage locations can be managed by SU XXX.

What could be the problem / issue on this?
