Palletization Data on WM2 View - LE Qty

Hi Folks,

Pls tell me the significance of provision of 1,2 and 3 LE Quantities in Palletization Data of WM2-view of Material master.

What will be the impact if I have the LE Quantities in Palletization as below :

LE quantity Un SUT

150 KG S1

100 KG S1

The palletisation data is used mainly for if you have different size bins

For example

A pallet of 150 will fit in a bin type B1 but you can only get 100 in a B2

So if your sections and strategies for bin types and storage unit types are set correctly then when you do a GR the system will work out how many pallets you have and if for instyance a pallet contains 101 or more pieces it can be directed to a B1 bin type and if it has 100 or less pieces it can go to a B2

Also you can set it so that some Storage unit types can go to B1 and B2 but some (the 100 or less) cam only go to B2

This allows you the best optimisation of your warehouse and you do not have small pallets taking up large pallet spaces
