We have 4 materials.
Material A: A bottle of milk
Material B: A pack of 3 bottle of milk sold together
Material C: A pack of 4 bottles but there are sold for the price of 3
Material 😧 A bottle of milk that for a certain time period is sold with a discount of 20%
How can I use material A as a pricing reference material to get the price for the materials B, C and D
ex. Material A has price 10
therefore material B should have 30
material c should have 30
and material D should have 8
hi,
this is to inform you that,
1.Material A: A bottle of milk -
1.a create a normal material with no prcing reference with price as 10/-.
2. Material B: A pack of 3 bottle of milk sold together
2.a. if material B is selected in sales order which will have an alternate unit of measure of 1 pack = 3 bottles with normal price.
3.Material C: A pack of 4 bottles but there are sold for the price of 3.
3.a.if material C is selected wth bsaic unit of measure is 1, then you can use 3+1 exclusive free goods.
you can try cross selling also for this.
you can try simplest variant configuration also for this with a precondition for this.
4.Material 😧 A bottle of milk that for a certain time period is sold with a discount of 20%
4.a.- normal with discount of 20%. you can maintain through condition records.
in total you can create 3 materials for this 1 & 4 you can control with condition records any how.
hope this clears your issue.
regards,
balajia

Hi
This works for you ...
1.In material master for the material "B" "C" "D" got to sales org 2 Tab and mention the Pricing reference material.
2.In the Combination materials maintain the Alternate unit of Measurement.
3.In Condition records for the "D" material maitain discount of 20%. or manually in sales order.
4.For the material "C" maintain in condition record free goods combination.

Hello Stilianos
I suggest you work with one material and Sales Units/Alt. Units of Measurement to achieve this.
For that material, the base unit of measure is Each (bottle of milk). Then maintain 2 alt Units; one a Pack with 3 bottles ( I case = 3 Bottles) and another for 4-bottle case ( 1 case = 4 bottles).
User enters the sales unit as Each or Pack or case. Once user enters the sales unit as Pack or case, pricing for scenario B is straight. For scenario C, you may try 'Inclusive' free goods( Buy a case of 4 bottles and 1 bottle is included free:. Scenario D is a straight discount situation which you can obtain by a discount condition.
Does that work? Let me know.

Hi,
Create Sales Bom for Material - A as main item
maintain sub components as Material B - ( Qtty - 3) , Material C - (Qtty- 4) & material D ( qtty- as specified)
( you can have time frame for the respective BoM & later change / delete the componets when needed)
Create new cond table with main material as key field & Material (Component) as fields.- its std feature available in SAP.
create cond records for this key combination.
Surely it works, because we are using from quite long time.
