RFP/RFQ process for Fregiht rates

Hello,

Is there a process in SAP to bid rates 'RFP/RFQ' for Freight rates.

Our requirement is to send out a bid notice for the upcoming year for our carriers and idnetify the leat cost carriers using the ranking method and finally mass maintenance them in SAP .

Let me know of there any documentation available for reading on this or suggest process .

We face some problem simmila in my last project and the solution has been defined considering a new Price conditions. It means, you have to some customizing in Price to define a contract price of freight and to define it in the Material Master Data, fulfilling also on conditions for vendor price.
