FPM for ESS

Hi all

while i was going through the Developing a self service application> Creating a Web Dynpro Application

in that he is saying to create two projects for pcui_gp_xssfpmsap.com (the FPM Web Dynpro Component) and pcui_gp_xssutilssap.com (the FPM Utilities), is this necessary to create the projects.

when i try creating the projects in context menu of DTR for sap.com_SAPPCUI_GP in that there are some active dc's in that pcui_gp/xssfpm, pcui_gp/xssutil . for these components i am not able to create project.

And the help given is not that much clear.

i want to create a new application with FPM. can anyone have any mateiral with simple setps so that i can go through.

Hi Srikanth,

Did yu try importing the sources for the fpm.If yes,how did you achieve that?

I was trying to create a custom ESS application and just see the fpm DC in Active Dc only.

Hi Srikanth,

did you import sources for PCUI_GP or only archives? If you do not have sources for the components in your track you won't be able to create projects.
