ERROR : program SAP.CCMS.J2EE.SID not registered

Dear SAP colleagues,

From my SAP Solution Manager System (SMC), I want to add JAVA standalone system (as portal).

I am creating them in RZ20 to be able to ping them from SOLMAN_WORKCENTER, System Monitoring, System Status.

Procédure :

(in this example, I want to monitor a EP system (P33) :

1. In Solution Manager System (SMC) :

RZ20, Technical Infrastructure, Display Topology - Create Entry (which means new system).

2. I enter all data related to the P33 (EP) system :

System ID : P33

Message Server : hostnamexx

HTTP Port of the Message Server : 8101

RFC Connection to Monitored System : SAP.CCMS.J2EE.P33

When I save, it automatically generates the RFC SAP.CCMS.J2EE.P33.

When I test the RFC SAP.CCMS.J2EE.P33, I get this error :

ERROR: program SAP:CCMS.J2EE.P33 not registered

DETAIL: TP SAP.CCMS.J2EE.P33 not registered.

COMPONENT: SAP-Gateway

I do have this problem for all 3 JAVA standalone systems I have add in RZ20.

Any input is very welcome.

I found the reason, there were a user / pwd error in P33.

As you are using registered service you need to make sure that the service is running on the remote host.
