Error GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED during SPAM update

Former Member

Hi!

I got the following ABAP dump during importing SPAM version 640/20.

Runtime Errors: GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED

ShrtText: Field symbol has not yet been assigned

What happened?: Error in ABAP application program.

The current ABAP program "SAPLOCS_CORE" had to be terminated because one of the statements could not be executed. This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.

System:

OS: AIX

SAP Release: 640

SAP Kernel: 640

Patch Level: 43

Database: Oracle

Please anyone suggest how to rectify the above problem and re-import SPAM.

Hi

Some times it would be a problem with your kernel patch level, apply the latest kernel patch and then apply the SPAM patch

I am getting similar error please reply me if you find solution.

The current ABAP program "SAPLSPAM" had to be interrupted because it c

a statement that cannot be executed.

In the include "LOCS_COREU01 " in the line 157 of program "SAPLOCS_COR

following syntax

errors occur:

"Field "TYPE_ACP" is unknown. It is neither in one of the specified ta

"les nor defined by a "DATA" statement. "DATA" statement."

I see this is still listed as unresolved. I am also getting this error when trying to upgrade SPAM from 19 to 22. When I restarted SPAM after the initial error listed in this thread though, I now get a core dump and now the error reads:

The import was stopped, since an error occurred during the phase

IMPORT_PROPER, which the Support Package Manager is unable to resolve

without your input.

After you have corrected the cause of the error, continue with the

import by choosing Support Package -> Import queue from the initial

screen of the Support Package Manager.

The following details help you to analyze the problem:

- Error in phase: IMPORT_PROPER

- Reason for error: TP_STEP_FAILURE

- Return code: 0012

- Error message: OCS Package ALL, tp step "6", return code 0012

System:

OS: Solaris

SAP Release: 640

SAP Kernel: 640

Patch Level: 129

Database: Oracle

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Tom

Was this resolved. I got the same error when updating SPAM/SAINT to SAPKD62023 in our 4.70 system with HPUX and Oracle.

I tried re-starting the update and it finished successfully. Just wondering if this is OK as I am still looking up documentation.

Thanks
