Post revenue directly to profit center in RO

Dear Expert,

Is it possible to post the revenue directly into profit center of ROs in stead of profit center of contract when process the periodic posting (RERAPP) by not need to execute the transfer posting?

Currently if we process the periodic posting, system will post revenue to the profit center of contract then distributed to the ROs via transfer posting referenced by distribution formular in condition.

Hi

You can change the Distribution object within the contract if you require but first you have to change the status of posting and unlock the condition parameters on the condition. You can then change the distribution object of the condition in Distribution tab.

Please consider posting to RO is generally when there on vacancy situation.

Hi Tima,

The behaviour of the system seems logical to me. When there is single rental object, if there is no entry in profit center field of the contract, system automatically derives the profit center of the rental object.

In case of multiple objects it is not possible unless using distribution rule user mentions the % of the distribution, and the RERAPP run fails as it expects for a profit center in the revenue line item.

Still if you want to post in this way directly to the profit center of the rental object, then we can try the below procedure. ( I have not tried but seems possible).

1. Create separate condition for the rental objects in the contract. (Ex: Ctype 10 for RO-10 ; Ctype 10 for RO-20).

2. Use the BADI or BDT ( by taking help from FI consultant) derive the profit center in the revenue line item based on RO. As there is a separate condition for RO(line item) for the contract in the posting it is possible to directly post to profit center filled in the line.

check these badi's (ZBADI_RE_RA_CA and BADI_RE_XC_MM_OT_DOC).
