Transaction iView - pass parameters to non-default tab

Hi Experts,

I have a requirement to call transaction iView from Webdynpro ABAP application by passing some default values.

I am able to call the iView and also able to pass parameters. My requirement is to pass values to the tab in iView which is not the default tab when I execute the TCode.

Is this possible using absolute navigation...??

If yes please let me know how can that be achieved...

Hi,

i think it depends on the transaction, how to go about the passed parameters.

You could try passing the following to the transaction.

BUSINESS_PARAMETERS type WDY_KEY_VALUE_LIST

LAUNCH_PARAMETERS type WDY_KEY_VALUE_LIST

Using BUS_PARAMETER, I am passing the values to Transaction iView. But it is getting set only if the field is on the defualt tab.

I am not able to pass values to any othe tab using parameters'

Hi,

Do you already know a way to reach this transaction to a desired tab with out using webdynpro ?. Is it possible at all in any way to start this transaction and position to a particular TAB.

If you do not know that then i am afraid that no one could help you out in forum.

But I don't want to change the default tab in R/3. Is there any way we can change the default tabe while opening the transaction iView..?

Hi,

You have to explore the possibility of steering the transaction to open the desired TAB. Probably, you could post this question in Portal and ABAP forums to get more response.
