Java stack startup porblem

Hi Experts,

Can any one tell me how to troubleshoot Java stack(pi 7.0) server startup porblem,as per my knowledge

1. jcmon to check the server status

2.check dev_control,dev_server,dev_ms,jvm_node,std_server.out file

3. check the defualt_trace file

Pleae guide me

Hi

These steps are indifferent, dependent only on the error you have.

But the most usual for when JAVA don't start is:

1. Sapstart.log

2. dev_dispatcher

3. dev_server0

4. dev_bootstrap

These are the most common logs for other errors should consult other logs.

Approach is ok ...What exactly you want to confirm with this thread ?

Do you have any issue with system currently or just for GK.

The logs you can find in folder work

/usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGS00/work

Organize logs by date and for your issue check dev_dispatcher, dev_bootstrap, dev_server0

If you have a issue unknow, paste log here.
