Multiple G/L account mapping for Product Category

Hi,

As of SRM7.0 , one can define multiple G/L account for Product Category and Account Assignment combination through the config node SRM Server> Cross-Application Basic Settings>Account Assignment--> Define G/L Account for Product Category and Account Assignment Category.

When multiple G/L accounts are maintained for a Product category - Account Assignment combination , one of the G/L account should be made as default and this G/L account would default during Shopping Cart creation. However when you use the search help of G/L account , system does not restrict the search help to the G/L account maintained in the config. The search help is called from ECC and all the possible G/L accounts are returned. In that case what is use of maintaining multiple G/L accounts in the configuration? Maybe we can use Check BAdI to validate the permissible G/L accounts.

I have similar kind of requirement,

Same Prod.Category Mapping with Multiple G/L Account. Please advise what is the procedure to mapping them.
