Error no control data defined for sanctioned party list screening

Hi esteemed colleagues,

we have updated GTS version 8.0 with support package 14 and now run into following issue:

when we create or change business partners in compliance and save the error message 'no control data defined for sanctioned party list screening'. In addition after confirming the error message the message 'SYST: Error in routine BUD0 BUT000_DTAKE' pops up.

The changes are saved nevertheless and can be reviewed on screen after closing change/create and call the transaction again. Has anyone experienced the same and knows how to fix?

Check your configs with control settings for SPL screening. Check the control procedure to the legal regulation which is activated.

Path: SPO->SAP GTS->SAP Compliance Management->Control settings for SPL service.

Do you mean in SPRO of feeder system SAP R/3? Because in GTS client control settings have been maintained, i.e. have not been changed after SP14 installation

I meant in GTS side config. Check in the list types and see if all the configs are same before/after installation.

Checked very thoroughly but like I said data has not been changed. Any other idea what could be the issue?

Ok. Check whether the BP has moved correctly from ECC to GTS. Then take the BP and run a simulation on it. Let us know what is the result.

Also kindly check the validity of the SPL lists. After your upgrade, have any changes been done there.

Hi,

It could be that you are missing the Link between the Business Partner and the ERP System. Please resend the Business Partner from the ERP to GTS and check if there is no log in SLG1 with an error, if it is that, check the definition and assignement of the Logical System to the group of logical System. If there is no error log, check if with that BP it works now and also check if the BP has been created more than once in GTS (by searching it with the external number).

Other problem could be that one SPL Legal Regulation that you are not using has been activated by the System / or that the table behind it is poorly updated. For that in the GTS Customizing, activate all SPL Legal Regulations that are not active, then deactivate them, and do the contrary for the activated ones. In parallel ask your Basis team to check wether all Tables have been activated (this is a common upgrade issue in GTS).

Cheers,

Marc

Activate/Deactivate SPLS Legal Regulations did the trick
