Hi friends,
I am facing a problem on barcode print. In SAP, there are also some SAPscript reports for printing barcode developed by other teammembers. The device type is ARCHUTF8. The reports print well.
Now, I developed several reports for printing barcode using smartform. I find I can't print smartform reports correctly. Then I change the device type to LZEB2 (Zebra label printer 203dpi), the smartform reports print correctly, but the Chinese characters display as "#####". What's worse is all the SAPscript reports can't be printed right.
So, my questions are
1. How can I display Chinese characters correctly? When we choose "CNSAPWIN" device type, Chinese words show.
2. How can I print both SAPscript report and smartform reports correctly at the same time. Is there a certain device type support both 2 kinds of report? We use ZEBRA printer.
Thank you so much in advance!
Hi,
If you use a smartform, you can use unicode device type LZEBU2 as per SAP notes #750002 and #750772. A memory card with an ANDALE font is required for your Zebra printer; details can be found in SAP note 750772.

Aidan

Hi
Check whether your ZEBRA printer is capable of printing Chinese Characters by checking it on the Zebra Printer company website for that model if not how u can achieve it (its basically u need insert a Chip which prints the barcode and chinese characters in Zebra Printers as we have done the same thing for printing Japanese characters in my project) ..
