Create space in test system

Dear all,

Recently we have completed System refresh (from FN1-PRD-> to :QN1-QUA).

Now we have to create addtional client in (QN1) test system for

internal training purpose.

But We donot have enough space to create in QN1 test system. Is there any

way to delete the two months old data in QN1 system ?..

so that we could get more free space in QN1 system to create additional client.

Thanks

Malai

This depends on what type of client copy profile you want to use for creating new client? as not all the client copy profile requires lots of space.

About deleting the data has to be done by functional team.

To add to that, If you had create and deleted clients for a while, perhaps you'll get some space back through reorganization (if you have the time)...In anycase hardware is cheap, maybe you should simply consider adding more disk space.

Juan, Gagan, Sunil,

Thank you all for your advice..

I am sorry Adding more space it seems little bit difficult here.

I will consider/try the Re org option as per Juan-san Advise..

We will check funtional team to reduce the way.

Meantime If there are some way to delete one month or two month old data, would be better to get a space.

Thanks

Hi,

There is no standard way to delete all data from last 2 months ,you would have used backup of 2 months back for system copy itself. Archiving is a another option but does not make much sense for test system.
