Hi Guys,

My FICO is running MIRO but is getting time out error.

The total no of line items in the PO are 2900.

He runs MIRO with set of 400 Line items everytime.I have increased the runtime for the WP but sometimes still it gives timeout.

I have checked the note no 1333601 but its for india specfic version & i m in UAE.

Is there a way to schedule this background.

thanks

Hi,

1) If possible try to reduce the line item while extraction at the selection screen

2) Monitor the process in SM50 check the action & table field for the most time consume table (ex;MSEG)

3) Check if this is happening with all other env sometime this may happen due to largedata extraction which is available only in prd

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

I have already asked them to reduce the line items to 200.

In SM50 there is no such information available. only the report name is available doesnt provide any information on the table that is being accessed.. I checked in SM66 also.

Since the data is availalble in PRD only so this occurs in this env only.

Could we schedule this MIRO process in background..?

Yes you can schedule this to run at background... in this scenario no need to worry about further TIME_OUT and revert back the old values for dia runtimes.

Ok, what are the tables you get in SM50/SM66 when user performs the MIRO.

If you can't get any then switch on the sql trace to get the list of tables.

Make sure that the listed tables has upto date statistics.

Hi,

I ran the trace and i have gone through the trace file.

I check the statements From"......" and updated the statistics for these tables.

Is there anything else i can search for in Trace file..?

Its general problem, check whether indexs are created for MSEG table.

MIRO is not as a report which can be scheduled as a background job, this is a transaction end user has to enter some details.

You sure that the table stats are upto date?
