SAP_INFOCUBE_DESIGNS is ABAP report which can give you details on BW cube.

Run transaction SE38 (eventually SA38) and put SAP_INFOCUBE_DESIGNS into name of ABAP report and press F8 or choose Run icon from tool bar to run this report.

On the selection screen of this report enter your cube... and run this selection to see the output of report.

Hi

Before running the report, update the cube stats first. Ask ur BW team to do this. Then run the report and search for ur cube dimensions.

Raghavendra.

And by the way what u mean by sizing? whether u want to find the existing size of the cube? if that is the case then go to DB02 and find the size of DIM table, F table and E table. If you want to predict the future groowth of the cube then use SAP quick sizer.

Sorry for confusion, I had no access into the BW system when I was writing my previous post.

Actually there are all the available cubes in system depicted on output screen right after you ran this report.

So while you got the output just search for particular cube you are interesting in and you get the figures of its size.

Also see SAP Note:

[1461926 - FAQ: BW report SAP_INFOCUBE_DESIGNS|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1461926]

for information on that report.

Hi,

all records of you cube are contained in the fact table. Nothing compressed yet. You defined 4 dimensions which are not bigger than just 1 % of the fact table. That is a good ratio, so your cube is designed very well.
