Hello Gurus,
I want to review all the information for a universe connection ( such as driver type/database name etc), but I can't get it by "Tools>connection>edit".
Many thanks,
From your Universe Designer, click on icon (or from dropdown menu) to open the Universe Parameters dialog box. Click on "Edit" to bring up another dialog box where you can edit the connection. In this dialog box, you can find out what kind of database it is connecting to and the database schema name.
Hope this helps.

If you are using the SAP BusinessObjects tool, you should join [ASUG|www.asug.com]

Click the "Test" button on your connection. When you get a successful test, click the Details button. It will provide lots of information about how the connection is defined. It will not show the password (which is hidden) but it will show you which version of the database is in use and so on.

What version of Business Objects are you on?
