POSID Change

Hi,

Uses frequently chage the WBS (POSID). But when WBS master data is tranferrred from 4.7 to 6.0 through IDOC, it is creating new WBS insted of replacing latest POSID in target system (6.0)

Please find detail description

- Suppose initially we have POSID as ABC in source system (4.7) as shown in table PRPS

- Now we edit this WBS (POSID) in source system (4.7) as XYZ, with transaction code CJ02 or CJ20N. Now source system contains only one WBS (XYZ) with only one PSPNR. WBS (POSID) ABC, does not exists in source system (4.7). We can check change log for POSID in transaction code CN60.

- The WBS master data (POSID) is transferred through IDOC to target system (6.0), where we can check both new & old POSID (XYZ & ABC) exists in PRPS whereas source system (4.7) contains only one latest updated WBS (POSID) but target system contains both POSID, this is the exact issue. We expect same behaviour of POSID in source & target system.

Functional module used to transfer IDOC -

HI

prior to you transfer the changes via the IDOC & furthur usage of BAPI, you should try for changing the PSPID name / code in the target system also. Your requirement is a two step one.

Hi,

We can not change logic in fuctional module as it is standard. Please suggest other possibilities to implement logic.
