Crystal reports runtime 13.0 or 14.0 when developing using vs2010

Hi there.

I develop and deploy on Win7 x64 using vs2010.

When I deploy on the target machine, should I install

CRRuntime_64bit_13_0.msi (path taken from product.xml and downloaded)

or

CRRuntime_14_0_64bit.exe (taken from production release blog post?)

It looks like the 13.0 version assemblies are referenced in vs2010 so that might be the answer to this maybee stupid question.

Kind regards

Hello,

Please note that the final release of SAP Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2010 has a version 13.0. Beta version of the product was 14.0 and it's not recomemded to be used for distribution.

Since you are deploying the application in a 64 bit OS, it's advisable to use the 64 bit runtimes available [here|http://downloads.businessobjects.com/akdlm/cr4vs2010/CRforVS_redist_install_64bit_13_0.zip]. The name of the file is CRforVS_redist_install_64bit_13_0.zip.

Hope it helps.

Thanks.

Thanks,

the info I was looking for was that 14.0 was the bet versions and that 13.0 was the latest production release...

Great, now I can back to coding.
