Dear SDN,
I am doing a proto for a xi interface which involved syncronous proxy.I have an outbound abap proxy
which sends data from SRM using using a FM BBP_PD_SC_GETDETAIL and as per business sends the data via proxy to xi. Xi routes it to mq series.
And a posting is done in a non sap system. Now we have a response or an error message from the system which needs to be routed back to srm.
Can anyone refer any blogs or pointer on such a syncronous abap proxy? can it be done with a single structure?
Regards,
Anirban.
Hi,
The Proxy is generated out of the message Interface that we create in the SAP XI. As you want a response. Just create a MI with synchronous Interface.
Also map the response of Proxy that you are creating.

Hi Anir,
Note that your outbound sync interface wud be used to generate the proxy and u can handle the request n response in the same report itself since the class will be implemented as EXECUTE_SYNCHRONOUS and u will have a
output n input strcture in it.
eg....
....
....
EXPORTING
CONTROLLER =
OUTPUT = out
IMPORTING
INPUT = in.
Hi Anirban,
Please go through the information provided in the blogs below which explains clearly about ABAP Proxies and their implementation.

Please do let me know if you want any more help regarding the same.
